Forrestal

He was good, very very good. So Indiana Jones tells us about Forrestal at the beginning of Raiders of the lost ark. Forrestal was impaled at the entrace to the chachapoyan temple before Indy ever got there.
I've always wondered how this Forrestal would look, so here's my concept of how this adventurer looked before he met his end at the tip of a spike booby trap.

I'm a dad!

My son Xander was born on the 8 of June 2010. So updates will be a bit sparse, although I can assure you that I also very busy with other stuff than changing diapers. I'm finally taking up my old personal book project again and I'm painting new concepts for it.

My paintings in ImagineFX #56

Check out the dvd that comes with ImagineFx #56. I'm in the readers gallery with a link to my website.
Must be why I've had a 300% increase in Youtube subscribers lately.

A cover I did for the danish translation of 'Wonderous Strange' is also coming out soon. Check out the cover below:

I like the digital painting magazine 'ImagineFx', and apparently they like me too. So for the third time, I'm going to have some paintings published in the mag in the 'FXposé' section.

Over on http://www.imaginefx.com/ I've got a small gallery of my work, and they picked out two of my paintings for 'Image of the Day' recently one was the 28 of January the other the 10'th of February - that resulted in an invitation to send those two plus one extra for future inclusion in the mag. Below is shown the one that won 'Image of the day' on February the 10'th.

Finally, I can show my entry for the ImagineFX cover comp.

There's alot of high-end stuff being submitted for that comp, so I don't think I'll win - but hey- it was a fun project and I rarely use this much time on one image anymore so it's nice with a new hi-res pic for the portfolio.

New book cover with extras!

Nick Clausen's 'De døde brødre' was releashed by the publishers recently. It's a really good ghost story with a nice twist to it. I painted the cover, drew a picture which is displayed inside and made a special postcard which was included with the book too.

The book can be purchased here

Assassins creed 3 concept drawing. I'm playing AC2 right now, and it rocks! I played with the thought of AC3 taking place in Victorian England. So here's the next incarnation of the assassin main character. I havn't come up with a name yet though.

New book cover coming soon.

I've been working on a new cover for a horror novel for Tellerup recently, and it might be out for Christmas. I've also worked on an interior illustration and a 'special item' for the book. In the words of Barney from the show 'How I met your mother'- It's gonna be LEGEN-wait for it-DARY!

Sirenernes Hemmelighed

My cover for Julia Goldings novel 'Sirenernes Hemmelighed'. This is the danish translation of Goldings 'Secret of the Sirens'. I based this loosely on the english cover - see it here:

I think I managed to make the danish cover a bit more exciting.
Danish publisher Tellerup has released this for purchase recently. This is the first novel in a series of four, included is also a very cool sewn patch.

First up are some character designs I did for the danish company 'Kinetic Mass'. The plot and gameconcept is still shrouded in mystery - but they're showing off these concept drawings I did of the four playable main characters. The second guy from the left was edited by the game director - they changed his head. But that's the world of gameconcepting - changes are being made all the time :)
So I've started a blog... Vupti-doo. Gonna post some art soon.
